RISK: Starcraft Collector’s Edition Board Game is a uniquely Blizzard take on the classic strategy game. Just like in the video game, players must choose between the Terrans, Protoss or Zerg and then head into battle in an attempt to gain control of the Koprulu Sector. While base-building in Starcraft the video game can get complicated at times, this board game follows traditional RISK rules, meaning anyone ages 10 and up can jump right in. The Starcraft theme touches every part of this game, including the highly-detailed custom playing pie

This isn’t as much a critique of Legend of Solgard as it is the mid-core genre. Living in a time where smartphones outnumber the people who grew up playing video games, mid-core titles look to tighten the gap between those who play games and those who consider themselves gamers. And while that effort is valiant on its own merits, it seems odd that the entire mid-core brand is designed around making simple games more complicated, or rather, complicated games more simple. In a world filled with different consoles and gaming devices all offering their own distinct experiences, mid-core titles, on average, tend to blur the lines between mobile and console gaming in a way that often seems ham-fisted, or at the very least, not well thought

Other networks aside, the Legends of Tomorrow route seems more likely if we’re ever going to see the Justice League on the small screen. Some major players will get their own shows, while others will appear as important supporting characters. Picture a Superman series that has him mentored by Martian Manhunter or frequently teaming up with Green Lantern, or possibly a Wonder Woman show with her travelling to Gotham for one season and helping a mopey billionaire to lighten up a little. Not everyone needs their own show, and some might even need as little as a featured episode. Given that we’ve already got duplicate characters in the TV and movie worlds (the Flash, for example), this shouldn’t be too much of a prob

Naughty Dog may well end up needing a wheelbarrow to carry home those golden ma

StarCraft 2’s Betrayal on Kerrigan trailer is one of the company’s most emotional creations. The cinematic is heartbreaking whether you are a fan of the series or not, but it hits home particularly hard for old school StarCraft fans. The trailer offers gamers a view from the ground as Kerrigan is betrayed by her own commander and left alone to be infested by the Zerg. The legendary betrayal takes place in the original StarCraft and this retelling of the hero turned villain’s last moments of righteousness even borrows the original dialogue from the classic

“Time is money, friend.” You’ve played Monopoly before but never like this. Monopoly: World of Warcraft Collector’s Edition features a custom Moba Game walkthrough board designed by Blizzard, and all of your favorite zones from Azeroth are here for the taking. Faction capitals Stormwind and Orgrimmar take the traditional spots of Boardwalk and Park Place, and the player tokens were voted on by fans. Try to stay out of jail as you move around the board as the Corehound Pup, Murky, Doomhammer, Hearthstone, Mechagnome, or Flight Path B

In the last twelve years, the powerhouse studio has developed a reputation of announcing games by revealing breathtaking cinematic trailers that appeal to both long-time fans of the company’s IPs and potential new customers. Although the last few games and their expansions have been announced with trailers that focus more on in-game footage ( like World of Warcraft: Legion ), the company still releases a top of the line cinematic trailer when each new product hits shel

Next on the list of champions with a “carry everyone else complex” is Zed. While being mechanically challenging, his overall strategy is pretty simple. He picks a single target, goes all in to kill them, and then blinks back to where it all started. I think this mix is what makes having a Zed on your team so frustrating. Most Zed’s you will play with think that because they can understand the strategy, they are skilled enough to follow up with the mechanics. This is rarely the case, which leads to many Zed players falling behind over the course of the game. This only exasperates the problem, because as they become relatively weaker to enemies and less able to play their assassin role, they will fail more often in their attempts to carry everyone else. It is still a team game and even the assassin characters have to learn to coordinate with their teamma
