Of course, it’s possible that none of the rumored games will be announced at E3, so fans should keep that in mind before getting their hopes up. Ultimately, we’ll just have to wait for the E3 festivities to kick off this weekend to see which rumors are validated and which are put to r
However, when looking at the long list of Microsoft and Sony franchises that could make the jump to next-generation hardware, it’s fairly evidently who has the edge. Taking star power and prominent, marketable franchises into account, Sny is packing several massive names that are each easy system sellers. Horizon, Spider-Man, God of War , The Last of Us, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted; these are all series that are offering fresh, interesting concepts that fans are clamoring to see more of, and that’s without even mentioning all the currently dormant franchises that Sony could dip its toes back into as w
Whenever Fable 4 is planning to hit shelves, Xbox needs to highlight that it’s coming out the gate strong and delivering what the fans want. It needs to show it has the system selling names, the exclusives, and the groundbreaking ideas to hang alongside the likes of Sony and stake itself a bigger claim in the generation to come. Microsoft has already shown that the Series X has groundbreaking technology and its marketing thus far has been wonderfully open and honest. All it needs now is a killer game that shows off exactly what the console can do, and Fable 4 seems to be exactly t
Yes, it isn’t the prettiest and yes, technically speaking it isn’t even in the realm of games like The Witcher 3 and Grand Theft Auto. But every game packed into this thing is some of the most fun you’ll ever have in any video game – plus it’s offered iconic moments like taking on Elise in Tennis (God I hated h
It’s not every year that Square Enix hosts an E3 press conference, so fans of the publisher are understandably excited to see what it has in store. We know that Kingdom Hearts 3 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider will both be featured, but it’s probable that Square Enix has some surprises up its sleeve as w
An easy contender for Microsoft’s biggest game for 2020, Halo: Infinite , returned to E3 this past summer and received a featured spot at the very end of its annual press conference. The new cinematic footage was more story-centric than the prior year’s atmospheric tease and revealed an unnamed UNSC pilot discovering Master Chief floating in space. After reviving the iconic hero, a mysterious yellow lightning strikes the USNC Pelican, prompting Master Chief to grab a gun and jump out of the ship. For fans wanting more, Microsoft is essentially putting Halo Infinite back on ice until E3 2020 ahead of its holiday 2020 launch on Project Scarlett. We’ll be ready for the next update whenever it arrives over the sum
Yet, there is one franchise within the Xbox’s library that could stand toe to toe with Sony and offer some significant star power if announced over the next few months. That is, of course, the heavily-rumored Fable 4 . Teased to be receiving a significant resurrection over at Playground Games – the developer of the Forza series – the rumors surrounding the fourth iteration of the popular British fantasy series have managed to drum up a lot of hype over the last few months. Some have claimed that Fable 4 will be a full reboot , stripping away the more industrial setting of Fable 3, while others claim it’ll be much more expansive than previous entries, with bigger worlds and more personalizat
Following all of the rumors/leaks surrounding an upcoming Fable Adventure Game Patch notes, we now know that the title is indeed in the works. Despite the fact that the game is already in development, there was nothing on it during Microsoft’s E3 2019 presentation and it did not tell us why.
By its own admission, Microsoft has had difficulty delivering console-exclusive games to the Xbox One on a consistent basis. At E3 2018, the company has the chance to reverse public opinion on its exclusives lineup, and if any of the rumors surrounding its lineup are true, then it may very well get the job d
World of Warcraft lead Ion announced the WoW: Shadowlands expansion with an incredible new cinematic trailer at BlizzCon 2019. The lengthly cinematic continues the story established in BfA and focuses on World of Warcraft lore. It depicts an encounter between Sylvanas, who has traveled to Icecrown, and the current Lich King, Bolvar. Sylvanas arrives at Icecrown in pursuit of something much more nefarious than just claiming the throne for herself though. The trailer’s twist ending sparked a ton of debate on the internet and in the WoW commun
You play as a team of three bugs who join the Explorers Guild in order to find the Sapling and gain fortune and glory. There’s the chivalrous, good-natured beetle, Kabbu; the overzealous, money-hungry bee, Vi; and the mysterious, amnesiac moth, Leif (because every RPG needs someone with amnesia.) Through fate, these three are bonded together and venture through the various lands of Bugaria, hunting down artifacts that will hopefully reveal the location of the Everlasting Sapl
